There is no better time than July to get out of Phoenix, head north to the mountains and go camping. The temperatures in Phoenix have been around 115 degrees so heading somewhere where it was below 100 was perfect! We decided to explore the area near Stoneman Lake. We found a great spot to pitch a tent and we set up camp and got down to business...we pulled out the BB guns! Leah loved it and poor Kenzie got to play in the pack-n-play while we took turns shooting targets.
Just as it started getting dark a small rain storm moved in, so we got to play in the tent for a while. We didn't have much, so we just took lots of pictures!

The rain stopped just in time for us to make smores before bedtime!
The next morning we let Leah guide us on a hike. She decided to take a hike looking for "cool" trees. She found some pretty good ones!
