Easter

My friend Penni flew in to spend her spring break with us.  It was nice having company in town for Easter, the girls loved having someone else here to play with.  We started the weekend off with coloring eggs.

Hiking in the Desert

We decided to take a short hike tonight because Leah wanted to "go see the desert".  So we took a short walk to the end of the neighborhood and "hiked" through the wash.  It was really cool to see the cacti in bloom.

Leah came out of her room today and said "Mommy, I am ready for church!"  I had to let her wear one of my necklaces in exchange for her to change her clothes.

The weather the last 2 weeks has been awesome!!  It has been in the 80's so we decided to spend a little extra time outside.

Leah likes to work out with me, she is a great trainer when I do P90X.  She points at the T.V. when I take a break and asks "is he in charge?"  To which I reply "Yes"  Her response is "He is still going so you need to keep going!" 

Leah Preschool

This week was Dr Seuss week at preschool for Leah.  She was so excited to have crazy hair and to wear her pajamas to school.  Leah loves preschool and loves Miss Wendy!

She also got to go on a field trip with her class to the grocery store.  All the kids had so much fun visiting and learning about all the different departments.  Leah's favorite part was getting a free cookie and touching a live lobster!

Kenzie 5 Months

At 5 months old Kenzie is still growing so fast!  She has now learned to roll from her back to her stomach (sometimes her arm gets stuck under her), she babbles all the time, and she is a good cuddler.  She is very fond of banana baby food and is great at letting me know when I am too slow at feeding her.
