Building a Crib Fort

This morning we built a crib fort for the girls to play in, Leah said it was "the coolest because Kenzie could not escape!"  I love watching the girls play together, they are truly best friends!

Splash Pad

Took the girls to the splash pad today with some friends, they had so much fun.  Kenzie loved being able to roam freely in the water and splash in the puddles.

Time for Preschool

Today was the first day of preschool for Leah.  This is her second year with Miss Wendy and she loves having her as a teacher.  She was so excited to go to school...much easier than the crying and screaming that took place last year!  I just love her face in this picture!

Water Time

What better thing to do on a hot summer day than go swimming!  This is how we have spent most mornings and evenings at our house.  Both girls love the water and they would swim all day if I would let them, or if I had the energy to do it. 

Kenzie 10 Months Old

Kenzie is 10 months old today!  She is growing so fast and is more and more fun every day.  She still prefers to army crawl everywhere but only because crawling is too slow.  She has also started pulling herself up on furniture.

12 Years of Marriage!

Travis came back to Utah for our 12 year anniversary!  I can't believe it has been 12 years, but they have been great!  We decided to go back to where it all began at Utah State University.  Travis had not been back to USU for 8 years, so he was a little excited to see it again. It was fun taking a drive down memory lane and seeing how much everything has changed since we were there.

Visiting Family

Travis' brother, Braeden, was not able to go to Glacier with us...while we were gone he was bored and ended up having a little too much fun with our car!!  This is what we saw as we pulled in the driveway, good thing it was not permanent!

Travis had to head back to Phoenix, but the girls and I got to stay in Utah for another week to visit with family.  We had a lot of fun and, as always, I enjoyed watching the girls play with their cousins.  We started the week off at an indoor trampoline place where the kids wore themselves out jumping, jumping, and jumping some more.

 

The rest of the trip was very relaxing just hanging out at both grandparents houses.
