The Color Run

Some friends and I got together to do a 5K called The Color Run.  All I can say is that it was a blast, even though it was one of the few cold and rainy days here in Phoenix, we had a ton of fun.  There are 4 color stations throughout the race, when you get to the station there are race workers that throw colored paint chalk on you.  I think the rain actually made it better.

Family Comes to Visit

My brother's wife Angie came to visit last week, it was nice having her here to help with the girls while I was at soccer.  The best part was crafting with her and just hanging out.  Leah was so excited she wanted to decorate her room for her.  After being toilet papered a few weeks ago, she now thinks toilet paper is a decoration.

After putting Kenzie's name on her wall, every time I put her on the changing table she looks at her name and laughs!  I think it is cute, apparently she thinks it is funny.

My mom and Ron came this week, we all loved having them here.  It was nice to get to know Ron and especially to see my mom so happy.  We were having so much fun all week that we forgot to get the camera out.  I am pretty proud that I at least took a picture of the best moment.  I came home from soccer practice and Leah and Ron were playing "nap time" on the grass. 

A Day in the Snow

Ever since coming back from Utah a few weeks ago Leah has been asking if we could go drive and find snow to play in.  We decided we should probably do it before all the snow melts up north.  We bought a sled and headed to Flagstaff hoping to find a good hill...we were successful!

Sister Time

This morning right after I finished feeding Kenzie, Leah was lying on the couch and asked me to lay Kenzie next to her.  After I laid her down Leah said "mommy, you need to go out so we can have sister time."  I hope this continues throughout their lives!

Later she also had to have her turn feeding Kenzie, this picture makes Kenzie look so big.

Warm Day at the Zoo

With the weather being so warm we decided to head to the zoo.  It is always fun to see the animals, play on the toys, and ride the carousel. 

Kenzie 3 Months

At 3 months old Kenzie is really starting to smile!  She is sleeping through the night and takes wonderful naps!!  She is very laid back and loves it when Leah talks and plays with her.  She is growing so fast, already wearing 6 month clothes.
