Halloween

I love dressing up for Halloween and I am so grateful Travis is willing to wear whatever costume I come up with.  We went with a Dr Seuss theme this year and I think it turned out really cute.  Travis and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2, Leah was the peacock and Kenzie was the gold fish in a bowl. 

Travis and I went to a party at our friends house and we loved the display of food that they had.

Leah was not allowed to dress up for school but she was allowed to color her hair.  So we went with the best Elsa we could out together at the last minute.

Phoenix Temple Open House

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints just built a new temple that is only 10 minutes from our house.  We were very blessed to be able to take the girls to the open house and see the inside with them.  It is amazing how strong the spirit is and how reverent the girls can be when they are feeling the spirit.  The temple was absolutely gorgeous on the inside and the girls loved the statue of Christ in the tent outside.  Both girls just stood there hugging it and did not want to leave!

A Day At The Beach

After spending 2 days at Disneyland our feet were killing us so we spent the day at the beach and allowed the sand and water to give us a natural pedicure!  It took the girls a while to dare to go in the water, but once they did they had lots of fun.  We also found some pretty neat creatures in some small caves and pool tides.

This was such a fun trip and we really enjoyed spending extra time with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Braeden.  The girls loved staying in a hotel! The last day in California we made a stop at a park to have lunch before saying goodbye to Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Braeden.
