Scout Camp

Travis was able to go to Scout Camp all week long.  He always comes home so worn out, but he has a blast so it is all worth it.  He is so good with the scouts and really enjoys working with them.  He is also much better at taking lots of pictures than I am.

Girl's Camp

I had the awesome opportunity to go to Girl's Camp this year as the sports specialist.  I was in charge (with my co-leader Jan) of putting together a class for all the girls in our Stake.  We decided to do archery and the girls loved it.  The best part was seeing their reaction when the finally hit the target after many attempts.  Every single girl hit the target, it was great!

We also decided to add a little extra fun and open up the zip line during free time.  Of course the leaders had to try out it first to "make sure it was safe."  It was a blast and the girls loved it.  I love going to camp with the girls and seeing them bond with each other watching them have many spiritual experiences.

As usual I was having so much fun I forgot to take a lot of pictures...but at least I got a few!

Amber came and stayed with the girls while I was gone and Travis was at scout camp.  When we all got home we had some fun making our own bags of homemade ice cream.

This is just a picture of Kenzie's new way of eating...dump the plate and lick it!

Travis' Birthday

Travis went home before us from Utah, our plan was for the girls and I to come back Saturday.  We decided to come back early and surprise him on his birthday.  We decorated the house, baked a cake, and then hid in the toy room until he came home.

Spending Time With Grandma and Grandpa

The girls loved spending time with Grandpa Kim and Grandma Heidi.  Kenzie enjoyed their car collection and she had Ramen Noodles for the first time and LOVED them!  Leah and Kenzie were even introduced to a new park near grandma and grandpa's house...they were in heaven.

The highlight of the trip for me was going to jam out with my brother, Craig, and his friend.  I have not played on a drum set since right before Leah was born!  My arms were very sore the next day!

Celebrating Leah's Birthday in Utah

While in Utah we had a huge birthday party with my family, we were able celebrate the birthdays of Leah, Sadie, Jake, Daxton, Craig, and Travis.  So many birthdays all within a few weeksor days of each other.  Leah could not decide between a minion or a vampire pinata, so I got a minion and drew fangs on it to make it a vampire minion.  I know...so creative!!

Of course the cousins had fun dressing Leah and Kenzie up like a bride and bridesmaid!

Next we were able to celebrate Leah's birthday with Travis' side of the family.  His Aunt, Uncle, and cousins came and Leah loved having all of them there.  The party included presents, cake, silly string, and a game of tag.
