We went on our first camping trip since living here. It was nice to go up in the mountains and get away from the 110 degree weather. It was so relaxing and nice to get away from "the real world" and just spend time together as a family. Leah loved to help around at camp with gathering sticks for the fire, setting the table, and sweeping out the tent.

Leah and I also took another trip to Utah so I could participate in my first triathlon with my brother Craig and his daughter Aubree. I am so glad I did it and I have to admit that I am hooked. We are already looking to do another one on Thanksgiving day here in Arizona.
My goal was to finish in under an hour
I DID IT!
My biggest fan!

So proud of my niece for doing it!
Part of our cheering section, I love the look on my nieces face!
There were many other highlights from our trip to Utah. We were able to fly to Utah this time, Leah loved having her own seat on the plane. My niece Peyton was born just minutes before our plane landed, of course we went straight to the hospital to meet her and to see my sister. We were also able to spend time with Travis's brothers family that were in town from Seattle. We spent the day at Thanksgiving Point with them. Finally, we went to a Real Salt Lake soccer game to end our trip.
